The three of us have somehow fallen under the impression that this region of Colorado (which includes our previous stops in Denver and Colorado Springs) rivals the most picturesque in the country. We all had a strong desire to spend a comfortable amount of time in the area, and offered up four full days for Denver and its laid-back neighboring towns. Boulder, which lies just slightly to the northwest of Denver, is one that will probably have us kicking ourselves for not staying a few days longer.
