Quite an unruly name, don't you think, Joey? You couldn't have just gone with "comments"?

Dear 100 days,
Very close to the time that you will be visiting Las Vegas an important event is taking place. The ultimate Star Trek Convention is being held at the Las Vegas Hilton on August 6-9th. This event is important for the following reasons:
-The new Star Trek movie opens soon
-The Star Trek experience is having a grand reopening during the convention
-The list of guests is incredible and continues to grow every day:

William Shatner
Leonrad Nemoy
Jonathan Frakes (#1)
George Takei (even more exciting for Stern fans!)
Michael Dorn (Worf)
just to name a few...

The website for the convention is
http://www.creationent.com/
I am posting a blog on the convention as well at:
www.nerdsburgh.blogspot.com/

Sorry for the geek out on such a cool website...but the 100 days team should check out this wild extravaganza if at all possible!

-Erin

OK, if you can fit these in - these are the most awesome places when I did a similar trip in High School...

1# Visit Pigeon Forge, TN – picture the boardwalk plus amusement parks plus Dolly Pardon. Drive up & see the scenic overlooks in Smoky Mountains when you’re done driving motorized carts.

2# The Big Texan Restaurant – you’ll be so hungry after the drive you might actually finish the ‘John Candy’ steak.

3# Get the Frito salad at the 5 & dime in the Plaza in Santa Fe, enjoy the plaza rats (freaky kids).

4# See if you can find a hippy parade in Eugene, OR – awesome town! Bring a hacky-sack to fit in.

When your going from Pittsburgh to Williamsport, you might want to shoot down to Somerset, PA. There is a small memorial at the Flight 93 crash site, and a great display at the Quecreek mine disaster site. It's about 70 miles from Pittsburgh to Somerset, but well worth the trip. Both sites are very inspiring.

You three crazy kids have the times
of your lives. Stop and see Derrick and Dustin if your trip takes you near
them. You will remember this forever.
Have fun and keep safe.
Love, Aunt Susie

Hi guys

I'm writing from Australia. I somehow found the details of your site in cyberspace & check it regularly. I'm planning on visiting the good ole U.S. of A. soon. My plan is to fly to Seattle/Vancouver, drive across the Rockies to Calgary, fly to Dallas, then to NYC & Washington D.C. for a week or so, then travel though the New England states - all in a 6 week time frame. I've already picked up some tips from you for the East Coast section.
Keep up the great work.

Remember the outside shower at Caitlyn's parents house at Hilton Head? Have you found any more like that one on your journey.

You're all an inspiration. Enjoy your venture of a lifetime.
